I led the front-end redesign for the Humphrey School’s Facts & Figures page to turn a heavy, overwhelming block of data into a crisp, accessible user experience.
Working with a UI/UX designer, I translated page mockups into production code, using responsive layout components and accessible data visualization to make complex stats easy to read on desktop and mobile.
I built the page using semantic HTML, our university design system, and custom Drupal Layout Builder templates to hit strict WCAG accessibility standards. Beyond improving the front-end UI for visitors, I streamlined the back-end editing workflow so well that our editorial team sent a special note of thanks when they went to update the numbers the next year.
The updated page featured an improved look that better met University brand standards and accessibility requirements.
